Community guidelines

Everyone should feel safe showing up.

We're here to get people outside and together. By using Out & About, you agree to:

  1. Be who you say you are. Real name, real photo, one account. No impersonation.
  2. Respect everyone. No harassment, hate, threats, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or anything else about who someone is.
  3. Consent comes first. Gatherings are social, not dating services. Unwanted advances, touching, or messages after someone says no will get you removed.
  4. Keep private things private. Don't share a host's address, other guests' details, or photos of people who didn't agree to be posted.
  5. No selling or scamming. No spam, pyramid schemes, fake events, or collecting money outside the app for events that don't exist.
  6. Drink and act responsibly. Follow the law and park rules. Nobody under 21 drinks. No selling alcohol or drugs at gatherings.
  7. Leave it better. Clean up, respect neighbors, keep noise reasonable, and follow park rules.
  8. Speak up. If something feels off, leave, and report it. In an emergency, call 911 first.

Waitlist privacy

Your info, kept simple.

When you join the waitlist we collect your first name, email, optional neighborhood, the vibes you picked, and whether you'd like to host. We use it only to tell you about Out & About's launch in your area and to understand what people want first.

We don't sell or share your information for advertising. You can unsubscribe from any email, or ask us to see or delete your info at any time by writing to outandaboutsocialnet@gmail.com.
